This week we are going to be looking at long multiplication - multiplying 2, 3 and 4-digit numbers by 2-digits. We are initially going to look at this using an area model (sometimes referred to as the grid method), before moving on to look at the formal method.
Monday - Thursday's lessons include a video input and a fluency sheet where you can practice the new skill you have learned. If you are confident with this and fancy some more maths, you can move on to the white rose videos & corresponding activity for that day. Answers are attached so that you can mark what you have done and revisit any areas you're not sure of. Please let me know if there's anything else that you need.
There are some further challenges at the bottom of this page if you are feeling extra confident and would like to have a go at these!
