Some simple phonic games for learning at home:
Eye spy
Using magnetic letters or you could make your own letter cards by writing each letter on pieces of paper and cutting them out for CVC (consonant, vowel, consonant) blending for example dog, cat
Phoneme hunt – write different phonemes on Post-it notes or pieces of paper and hide them around the house. Can you go and find them all?
Can you chalk different phonemes outside then paint over them with water to make them disappear. Saying each letter as you go. Can you think of a word that begins with that phoneme.
