Hello Owl Families,

As many of you are probably aware, we are going to start using an exciting new learning platform 'Seesaw'. It will be a great means of communicating between home and school which will allow us to directly praise, comment or like a piece of learning children have done at home. Learning can be uploaded through photos, videos, drawings, documents or a note to show the learning that the children have been doing from the week's home learning.  You can upload even if there hasn't be an activity set on it. No one else can see what they upload apart from myself.  I will try my very hardest to give timely feed back, but this will be different when I am teaching.  

This is not to add any more pressure to you but hopefully a way to create a great two-way conversation and link between school and home directly with the children.  We know home learning is a huge task in itself so PLEASE continue to do what you can.

It will be a gradual thing of putting activities on there for you to see over the next weeks. This week I have scheduled our mathematics learning. You can directly respond to that activity on Seesaw. Activities will be set and scheduled for a specific day and time. So you won't see them until the day BUT you do not have to complete them on that day.  I have also put the links to Whiterose as normal on the website so you can still see them. 
 

I have included a guide below as well as Mr Day's guide to use it as well.

This is a new way of learning for us as well so please bear with us while we navigate the systems as well!
