Week 5
In maths this week we have been learning about converting measurements. There is a task on MyMaths for you to complete. Please see below for a help sheet for converting measurements.
For English, there is a SPAG-hetti task for you to complete. Some of the tasks ask for you to identify or select a determiner. A determiner is a word that does before a noun and usually specify quantity. E.g. one dog; several apples; an elephant.

Week 4
This week we have been learning about negative numbers. There is a MyMaths task for you all to complete based on negative numbers.
In English, please complete a GPS task based around possessive pronouns.

Week 3
For maths, we have started to look at adding and subtracting decimals. We then moved on to multiplying decimals by 10, 100, 1000. On MyMaths there is a task to complete for Multiplying Decimals by 10 and 100 - REMEMBER... move the digits to the left. One place for a multiple of 10, two places for 100 and three places for a 1000. Use a place value chart to help (there is one to download below).
For your English task, there is an 'Is it a verb or Is it a noun' worksheet to help practice using words as a verb and then as a noun.

This week in maths we have learning about adding and subtracting decimals. For your homework, you have a task based around this. Remember, when working these problems out, ensure you have correctly lined up the digits based on their place value and include the decimal point!
In English, there is another task based on vocabulary from an exert from Treasure Island. You may want to use a dictionary or the internet to help you.

For this weeks' home learning there is a maths task on MyMaths. This is revision task based on multiplication and division skills.
For English, there is a task based on clauses which is also a revision task. Remember, clauses are parts of a sentence. The task has an extract from the text Treasure Island with some questions to answer.
In addition, there is also an optional computing task. Please see below.
