W/B - 11th January
Hello Owls and Owl families,
I hope you had a lovely week last week and had lots of fun through your learning and everyday life.
It was brilliant to see so many of you at our Zoom meeting last week. I hope you enjoyed seeing all of your friends again.
This week we are starting our new book of "Lost and Found". Our journey this week takes us to the North and South Poles so wrap up warm children for this chilly experience! We will be creating passports for our around the world adventures, making puppet shows, creating polar animals, ice play and playing games. In maths this week we will be looking at making numbers in different ways. We do lots of learning through play at school so keep doing this at home as well.
This week I have put a folder of extra activities. These are things that you may like to do during the week. These are simply to give some other ideas on activities. Please do not feel you've got to do them, they are simply to give you other ideas.
As always I would love to celebrate the wonderful home learning that I know you are all doing, so please send me in photos for our home gallery. Please feel free to send in anything that you have been doing, it doesn't have to just be from the learning. If you just want to ask a question via email or just to say hello please do.
I just want to reiterate, that please just do what you can do. I know it is hard home schooling. So please be kind to yourselves. Remember learning takes place in so many ways, just everyday things you do are all learning opportunities, go for walks, bake a cake, watch a programme, make a Lego model, do some dancing, make a junk model, dress up, do a puzzle, videocall someone, play a game or sing a song.
I really hope you all have a super week. Remember I am just a email away if you need anything.
Keep staying safe and well
Miss Foster
Let us start our adventures ....
