W/B - 22nd February
Hello Owl Class and Owl families,
A big welcome back to Term 4. I hope you all had a very well deserved break and had lots of fun during the week. I am hopeful after the last couple of days of beautiful sunshine we will start to have some brighter sunnier weather.
This term our big question is, "What is growing and hiding in your garden!" We will be looking at planting, growing, lifecycles and minibeasts. I hope we will have another great term learning and I have got everything firmly crossed that we will be back together at school very soon.
This week all of our learning is around 'The very hungry caterpillar'. We will be recalling the story, making posters and writing instructions. In maths we move on to learning about 9 and 10. We will also be learning about the butterfly lifecycle, exploring our gardens and creating our own butterflies. Don't forget lots of busy learning time as well during the week, dress up, do some of your own planting, complete a jigsaw, make a model, paint or explore.
As always please upload learning to Seesaw. We will continue to use it for our mathematics learning, these will be scheduled daily.
Don't forget about our daily story times and other extra ideas folders as some different activities to do during the week if you would like.
Please have a little look in the fine motor skills folders as there are lots of different activities for you to try. I have also put the letter formation sheets in there so please have a look.
I am very much looking forward to our Zoom calls again this term and can't wait for our Monday morning hello.
Remember I am just an email away.
Have a lovely week.
