Wk beginning 1st March
Good morning Badger families! What a lovely, sunny weekend we've had! I hope you've all enjoyed some exciting activities in the sunshine together. Our home learning is coming to an end next week, so this should be our final week of learning on line. You have done so well with your on line learning week in and week out, so give it your best efforts for one more week and then next week you will be back at school learning together with all your friends! The learning activities, as usual, will be split between Seesaw and our class webpage, so do be sure to check the Weekly Plans so that you know where to find everything. I hope you have a good week and please post your favourite bits on Seesaw to share with me.
Term 4, 22nd February 2021
Hello Badger families!
Welcome back! I hope you all had a fun half term, enjoying the last of the snow and the start of some milder weather. The break in the weather is a great way to welcome you to Term 4 and our new Big Question, ‘How much could it grow?’ This term our topic is about growing and the life cycles of humans, animals and plants. We will be doing lots of practical and outdoor learning and investigation across all subject areas to find answers to our questions. Hopefully, we will all be back at school in March, but in the meantime, you will find your learning activities shared on both Seesaw and our class webpage. Please check the ‘Weekly Plan’ document in the ‘Home Learning’ folder on the Badgers’ webpage. I look forward to seeing you all at our weekly Zoom meeting on Friday, 26th at 1.30pm as usual. Please be sure to have any questions ready about growing and also to share some of your learning from the week. Enjoy the week ahead and please keep in touch.
Wk beginning 8th February
Welcome Badgers to the last week of the term! How quickly the time has gone! I hope you are enjoying all the snow we have had over the last day. I'm sure you've had a lot of fun playing in it! Well, this week our learning focuses mainly on Chinese New Year which will start on Friday this week. I hope you enjoy learning about the traditions and celebrations associated with it. As usual, your activities are split across Seesaw and this webpage. Please be sure to follow the Weekly Plan to help you locate the activities. I hope you have a great week and please keep sharing your work with me. You are all super stars and keep doing your best like you are doing. Goodbye for now.
Wk beginning 1st February
Hello again Badger families and welcome to another week of home learning. I hope you had a good weekend! It's great to see that you seem to be enjoying Seesaw as a way of accessing the work and sharing your learning. This week is another mix of work posted on the webpage here and on Seesaw. I have put the Maths worksheets on both platforms so that you can choose how you want to do them. I have been so impressed with the effort the children are making and the pride they are taking in their work. This week we are journeying into space! Hopefully the children will enjoy their learning and I look forward to hearing about their adventures. Have a lovely week and do keep in touch.
Wk beginning 25th January
Hello again Badger families!
I hope you’ve had a super weekend! It’s been lovely to share your learning with you on ‘Seesaw’ and I can see how hard you have been working at home. I hope that you are finding this an easy and fun way to communicate. This week, I will continue to have a blended plan where some of the learning is on ‘Seesaw’ and some on our class webpage. I’ve also put some more Maths activities on ‘MyMaths’ for you to access. Please remember that there are no time limits for any of our learning activities. I am in school this week so I will respond to your learning as soon as I can. Please do what you can as you manage your busy schedules and I thank you for your effort and enthusiasm. Have a good week and keep on staying in touch.
Regards Mrs Cox
