Welcome to Term 4, Hedgehogs!

This term our Big Question is: How has transport changed over time? In History, we will be learning about the changes in trains, planes, cars and more - exploring the past and looking ahead to the future too!

In Science, we will be exploring different materials — identifying, sorting and describing their properties. 

In Art and D.T., children will get creative by making transport collages, painting with cars, and designing and building a boat that floats. Computing skills will be developed this term through labelling, counting, grouping and comparing. In Music, we will explore pulse, rhythm and pitch, thinking about how music helps us understand others. Our PSHE topic is 'Healthy Me', where we will learn about staying safe and healthy, and in R.E. we will explore the question: Why does Easter matter to Christians?

P.E kits will need to be worn on Tuesdays and Fridays this term. please Tuesday will be 'invasion games' with Mrs. Harding and Fridays will be Forest School - so please wrap up warm! Welly boots are welcome to stay in school for this (and OPAL play).
