As last term, the home learning for Reading and Spelling is the same for each week - check back here to see an update for the rest of your home learning each week.
Wednesday 6th November
Reading | You should be aiming for at least 20 minutes per day of reading at home - this is on top of any reading that we do in school. |
Spellings | Practice the spellings on the list that you have been given ready for your spelling quiz each Monday. There are also activities to help you practice of your spelling shed page! |
Maths | Complete the sheet of addition and subtraction calculations (including exchanging) to refresh your memory from last term. |
Creative learning | Draw a picture of the garden from our story. How do you picture the rest of the garden? We know it has the little house at the end but what does the rest of the garden look like? |
Wednesday 13th November
Reading | You should be aiming for at least 20 minutes per day of reading at home - this is on top of any reading that we do in school. |

Maths | Complete at least 30 minutes on TTRS - no battle of the bands this week but there is a catch... I have set all of you on the most tricky tables to help you practice - you will only get questions on the 6, 7, 8, 9 and 12 times tables! |
Creative learning | 2 week project Very soon, we will be transforming the class into the year 4 Christmas grotto! (we love Christmas in year 4!) Can you create a decoration that can be hung up in the classroom to help make us feel extra 'Christmassy'? |

Maths | Complete the worksheet on multiplying and dividing by 10 and 100 - remember it is not just about the placeholder zeros! |

Creative learning | We are looking at Rivers in Geography this term - can you research a famous river from anywhere in the world and create a fact-file or poster all about it. |
