This week we have been so proud of Year 6 as they have taken on Pixl assessment throughout the week. They have also begun to write dream stories, magpie-ing ideas from our class text and including flashbacks! In Art we became worms and drew cityscapes from a worm's eye view! In Geography we have been comparing our locality with a suburb of California so went on a walk around the village looking at human and physical features. We also had lots of local historical knowledge from Mrs Miller!!! We went to the church for the Harvest Festival where some children chose to read prayers. On Friday the House Captains were announced. What made us so so proud was the reaction and support from those children who were not chosen to be House Captains when they showed their peers such warmth and kindness!!! Year 6 brings with it a wealth of different roles and responsibilities and there will be other jobs coming up!
