Wednesday 21st February
Reading | You should be aiming for at least 20-30 minutes per day of reading at home - this is on top of any reading that we do in school. |
Spellings | Practice the spellings on Spelling Shed ready for your spelling quiz each Monday. We will also do some practice in class each day. |
Maths | Complete at least 30 minutes on TT Rock Stars to get yourself back in the groove with your tables. Remember I will check to see who has and hasn't done this. |
Creative learning | Create a poster in your Homework book to show your opinion on our writing subject for English. Maybe we can show these to Mr Day too to try and persuade him of your point of view - can you remember any persuasive techniques you could use? |
Wednesday 28th February

Spellings | Practice the spellings on Spelling Shed ready for your spelling quiz each Monday. We will also do some practice in class each day. |
Maths | Complete the My Maths task on the perimeter of rectangles - we have been doing this in class so it should just be practice of what you already know. |
Creative learning | Use the spoon template at the bottom of the page or a wooden spoon from home. Decorate these and dress them up as your favourite character from a book. Be as creative as you like and be ready to share them in class early next week as part of our book week celebrations! |

Creative learning | Miss Freeman is back with us for 2 weeks from Monday as she continues her learning to be a teacher! Write a letter or create a poster (or anything you like) explaining EVERYTHING you can remember learning this year so far, so Miss Freeman knows what you know :) |

Maths | I have set you some revision tasks on My Maths - there are 4 to do between now and when you return after half term. + I would like you to spend as much time as you can on TTRS to keep yourself fresh and in Maths mode! Next term is our last chance to get ready for our multiplication check which is in the first 2 weeks of term 6. |
