As last term, the home learning for Reading and Spelling is the same for each week, with Spellings uploaded on to the Spelling Shed website - check back here to see an update for the rest of your home learning each week.
Wednesday 26th February
Reading | You should be aiming for at least 20 minutes per day of reading at home - this is on top of any reading that we do in school. |
Spellings | Practice the spellings on Spelling Shed ready for your spelling quiz each Monday. We will also do some practice in class this week. |
Maths | Lots of practice on TTRS this week. |
| Creative learning | Learn your own Home Address off by heart and think of some arguments to add to your persuasive letter next week. |

| Creative learning | Write a paragraph or two about your favourite part of book week this week. I will be checking for accurate SPaG when I look at your writing. |
Wednesday 12th March
Reading | You should be aiming for at least 20 minutes per day of reading at home - this is on top of any reading that we do in school. |
Spellings | Practice the spellings on Spelling Shed ready for your spelling quiz each Monday. We will also do some practice in class this week. |
Maths | Complete the part whole models on your sheet to show decimals into the hundredths column. |
| Creative learning | Do some of your own research about plastic pollution. You are going to plan, write and deliver a speech on this subject so the more you know about it the easier it will be. I'd love to see some posters or presentations on what you find out! |

Spellings | Practice the spellings on Spelling Shed ready for your spelling quiz each Monday. We will also do some practice in class this week. |
Maths | Complete the addition questions including decimals - remember you just use column addition but don't forget to include the decimal point and don't ignore those placeholder zeros. Try to do at least 5 questions from each of the 3 sections. |
| Creative learning | We are beginning our impressionist artworks on Friday this week. We have already learnt about Claude Monet, could you research some other impressionist artists and select a few favourite paintings explaining why you like them? Create a poster or a page in your homework book to show what you have found. |
