Wildcats Class Y5

Welcome to Term 6!

Can you believe it's our final term!?

Our last Big Question is... ‘Do fish sleep in river beds?’ In Geography, we'll be learning all about rivers of the world, where our water comes from, erosion, deposition and the uses of a river. We'll also be learning about water resistance in Science and completing some fun experiments. We are going to explore how water can work as an inspiration for art and music, and learning how to create fishy-themed stop-animations in computing! We will be learning more about shifting tenses in French to speak about the past, present and future. In PSHE we will be learning all about our 'changing selves' and in R.E we will be exploring whether it is better to express your religion in arts and architecture, or in charity and generosity.

Our P.E days this term are Wednesday mornings for squash and Thursday mornings for athletics. Please ensure that full kits and water bottles are in for these sessions. A sun cap may also be a good idea for the sunnier sessions on the field!

A message from artist Jack Viant for Year 5!

In term 3, we were learning all about robots! We looked at how robotics have inspired artists and recreated the work of artist and illustrator Jack Viant. He loved looking at your work and would like to say hello!...
