Welcome to the Year 6 Puffin Class page.

We hope that you use this class page to find out about class information; school information and learning support. Year 6 is such an incredible year with lots of opportunities!

This term, we will be covering topics in class such as ‘Living Things’ in Science and the U.S.A in Geography (linking with a teacher in San Diego). We will be using the White Rose Maths scheme, covering place value, multiplication, division, addition and subtraction this term. In Music we will be exploring Samba music and in Art & Design we will be looking at cityscapes by Stephen Wiltshire and Lancelot Ribeiro.

P.E will be on a Monday and Friday (Friday will be taught by Venture Sports). P.E will include Quidditch this year! Mr Day will be covering my PPA on a Thursday afternoon.

Homework will start in week 3 (FRIDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER) once the Kent Test is out of the way. Maths will continue to be on MyMaths and spellings through Spelling Shed (details attached inside homework books).
