Welcome to the Year 6 Puffin Class page.

We hope that you use this class page to find out about class information; school information and learning support. Year 6 is such an incredible year with lots of opportunities!

This term, we will be covering topics in class such as ‘Circuits’ in Science and the Vikings in History. We will be using the White Rose Maths scheme, covering fractions. In Music we will be exploring the song 'HAPPY' with Charanga and in D.T we will be creating controllable cars using our circuit knowledge. In English we will be writing WW1 poems, following our trip to the trenches, as well as writing information pieces on the Vikings and gothic stories later on in the term (inspired by A Christmas Carol). We will be holding a Year 6 Remembrance Service on 11/11 at the church - family members are very welcome to attend.

P.E will be on a Monday and Friday (Friday will be gymnatsics and taught by Venture Sports). P.E will include Quidditch this year! Mr Day will be covering my PPA on a Thursday afternoon.
