Online Safety
Here is some helpful support and guidance for keeping our children safe online.
Promoting Online Safety in Our Church School
As a Church of England school, we teach online safety in a way that reflects our Christian values of trust, love, perseverance, justice and forgiveness. Through regular lessons, discussions and digital citizenship activities, children learn how to use technology responsibly, show kindness and respect online, and seek help when something doesn’t feel right. We work in partnership with families by sharing guidance and resources so that pupils receive consistent messages about staying safe and making wise choices in the digital world.
Celebrating Safer Internet Day
Each year we join the national Safer Internet Day campaign, using it as a chance to explore how the internet can be used positively for learning, connection and creativity. Our celebrations may include worship or reflection time, themed lessons, assemblies and creative projects that encourage pupils to think about how their online actions reflect our Christian ethos. Safer Internet Day helps us empower children to be confident, responsible digital citizens who show care and respect for themselves and others.
