Term 1
This week in maths we have been learning our number bonds to 10 and how to build a number sentence.
Last week the children designed and made their own fruit kebabs. We think they did an excellent job!
In Science we are learning about senses. This week we explored the sense of Smell. We had 5 pots with hidden items inside and using our sense of smell we had to guess what was inside. We smelt onion, pepper, italian herbs, chocolate and coffee.
This week Hedgehog class were visited by KIC theatre. The children listened to the story 'Friends' by Rob Lewis and as a whole class we re-enacted the story. We spoke about what it is to be a kind friend and how we can ensure that all of our friends are included.
